PhD Students from the UNWE Represented the University Excellently at the ENGAGE.EU Annual PhD Research Workshop & Early-Stage Researcher Symposium
The ENGAGE.EU Annual PhD Research Workshop & Early-Stage Researcher Symposium held from June 5th to 7th 2024 at Luiss University in Rome, brought together PhD students and Post-Doctoral students, researchers from the 9 partner universities of the European Alliance. The UNWE was represented at international level by the PhD students Hanna Kang, Kostadinka Stanimirova and Anna-Maria Nikolaeva. They successfully passed the selection procedure and had the opportunity to present their research results to the ENGAGE.EU research community.

The thematic fields of the seminar were artificial intelligence and society, ecological transition and inequalities as well as the opportunities for equitable mobility.
The three-day Symposium also discussed all the opportunities for educational and scientific exchange that are suitable for both undergraduates and Phd students as well as for the lecturers / researchers from the partner universities.
From the new academic year the UNWE and Luiss University provide education
in a joint Bachelor's Degree Speciality in Finance and Accounting.
