Prof. D.Sc. Zhivko Draganov Has Been Elected As President of the European Law Faculties Association

At the Annual Conference of the European Law Faculties Association /ELFA/ /April 17-19, 2024, Edinburgh, Scotland/ Prof. D.Sc. Zhivko Draganov was elected as President of the Association.

ELFA was founded and registered in 1995 in Louvain, Belgium, and operates as an international forum for the discussion of topics related to the legal education, collaborating with other organizations and educational institutions from Europe and the world. More than 150 Law Faculties from 49 countries are members of the Association. ELFA holds its annual conference where reperesentatives of Law Faculties participate in plenary sessions, seminars and roundtables.

By the election of Prof. Draganov as President of ELFA, the UNWE will host the jubilee conference on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Association which will be held in the period 23 - 25 April 2025. To promote research the ELFA has established and provides a prize for the best dissertation on topics in European, international, or comparative law.

The Association also publishes the only specialized scientific journal in the field of legal education - the European Journal of Legal Education.
