A Lecturer of UNWE Participated In A World Congress on The Intelligent Transport Systems

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hristina Nikolova from the Department of Economics of Transport participated in the XIX Congress on the Intelligent Transport Systems which was held from October, 22^nd to October, 26^th, 2012 in Vienna, Austria. In parallel with the Congress was organized an exhibition of high technologies in the field of the intelligent transport systems.

Assoc. Prof. Nikolova presented the only approved report from Bulgaria on the Macroeconomic Impacts and Sustainable Transport Development in the EU. By it was opened the afternoon session of the Congress under the name Politics and Strategies (on October, 24^th, 2012). By the participation of our lecturer in that most prestigious scientific Forum in the field of transport were presented for the first time results from the researches of Bulgarian scientists.

Assoc. Prof. Nikolova participated also in discussion on the issues of the implementation and usage of intelligent transport systems as well as the perspectives for their development in the world.
