Prof. Dr. Polya Katsamunska from the Public Administration Department participated in an expert group of the International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training Programmes – ICAPA for the accreditation of Master's degree programmes of Fairleigh Dickinson University /FDU/ in New Jersey, USA and Vancouver, Canada.

Fairleigh Dickinson University /FDU/ is a university center of academic excellence with a mission to prepare world citizens through global education. According to the rules, the procedure for obtaining accreditation by the International Commission requires an on-site visit by a panel of experts. The panel of experts appointed by the ICAPA to evaluate the Master`s degree programmes in Public Administration provided by the School of Public and Global Affairs included lecturers and experts in public administration from the United States, Bulgaria, and Lebanon. The expert group comprising Dr. Rachel Emas /George Washigton University, USA/, Prof. Polya Katsamunska /UNWE, BG/ and Prof. Georges Labaki /Notre Dame University-Louaize, Beirut, Lebanon/ visited the campuses of Fairleigh Dickinson University /FDU/ in New Jersey, USA and Vancouver, Canada in the period 1 - 5 April 2024.
