The economics education at our university opens up opportunities for development to Hamidin Moktar Kan in France and he says: "The Bulgarian higher education and my PhD degree gave me the opportunity to become a lecturer in higher education institutions. I taught the strategies of multinational companies to PhD students. I also worked in research institutes. I was a consultant on economic, demographic issues and mining in Africa. Part of my job was to elaborate forecasts for Africa's development. I am still in contact with major media in France who seek my expertise on issues related to the development of our continent".

As a presidential candidate Hamidin Moktar Kan points out that he wants to make the Ministry of Labour one of the largest in Mauritania. “We will invite foreign experts to come to Mauritania to advise us on how to build our infrastructure. We will also invite specialists from Bulgaria because I see how advanced is the economy of the country where I have graduated."
