The Rector and the Libyan Ambassador Discussed the Bilateral Cooperation in the Field of Education

The Rector of the UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, held a working meeting with a diplomatic delegation led by H.E. Abu Baker A. Saeed Saleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Libya.

In the meeting took part Mahmod Abedalgader, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission acting in the Ambassador's absence, Essam Aborass, Minister Plenipotentiary, Political Department, Ahmed Jallul, Cultural Attaché, and Mohamed Zarmouh, Medical Attaché.

The two parties discussed their desire to deepen the bilateral cooperation in the field of education with a focus on the opportunities for students from both countries to study in the higher education institutions of both countries. A desire was expressed to start cooperation between the UNWE and the similar universities with the same profile in Libya.

Emphasis was also placed on the necessity to facilitate the procedures accompanying and required for starting studies, such as visa regime, recognition of diplomas, etc.

The oppotunities of signing an agreement in this direction were discussed after prior agreement by both parties.
