Maxim Behar Headed the UNWE Trustees Council

At its first meeting, which was attended by the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and the Rector's Council, the new UNWE Trustees Council elected Mr. Maxim Behar as its Chairman.

He is a world known expert in public communications, founder and CEO of M3 Communications Group, Inc. and President of the World Communications Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He has begun his education at the UNWE and finished it by graduating from the University of Economics and Business in Prague. Mr. Behar has also completed the Specialized Leadership Decision Making Programme of Harvard Kennedy School in 2019. He is also the first Eastern European to be inducted into the PR Hall of Fame in London.

As Organizing Secretary of the Trustees Council was elected Yovko Atanasov, Managing Director of Lenovo Bulgaria, an experienced businessman with a solid practice in management and technology. Both he and Mr. Behar have been members of the Trustees Council for the past four years.

As members of the Trustees Council were also elected the Chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber Ilian Terziev, Eng. Krasimir Pingelov, CEO of Electron Progress EAD, a leading company in the implementation of information technology projects and comprehensive integration solutions, Eng. Nikola Bakalov, Chief Executive Officer /CEO/ and Chairman of the Management Board of the First Investment Bank, Sonya Krustanova, Director of the Financial Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Science, Ivan Vasilev, Deputy Mayor in the Finance and Health Department of Sofia Municipality and the Chairman of the National Representation of the Student Councils Angel Stoykov, also graduate of UNWE and former Chairman of the Student Council of our university.
