The New Rector of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv Is a Graduate of UNWE

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova was elected as Rector of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv.

She is a graduate of UNWE. She has obtained Master's degree in Agricultural Economics and a Doctoral degree in Economics of Industry Management  at our university. In 2001 she joined the Economics Department of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv as an Assistant. Ivanova has a professional qualification in Business and Finance from The College of North West London, She has specialized in Germany, France, Romania, Russia.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova is the author of a number of scientific publications in the field of rural development, producer groups, bio- and circular economies, food security and energy security. For two mandates she was Vice Rector for Educational Activity. She speaks Russian and English and has good command in stenography. She also plays classical guitar.

The motto of the Management Programme of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova consists of three words: - Positivity, Transparency and Predictability.
