The team of the University Centre for Students and Lecturers Mobility /UCSLM/ organizes a Welcome Party for the students of Erasmus+ Programme, announced the Director of the University Center and Institutional Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamelia Assenova. It will be held on 13 February 2024 at 4.00 p.m. at the shared space of Campus K - UNWE. The programme of the event includes a game for getting to know the University - GET LOSS and a disco party.

"The University Center for Students and Lecturers Mobility actively promotes the Erasmus+ Programme among the students of Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree at the UNWE. For the purpose for the first time at the University were organized the International Erasmus+ Day in October 2023 and the Erasmus+ Open Days in April 2023. Also for the first time a Lecturers` Week of our partner universities was held. During this week were presented the opportunities provided by the UNWE for mobility of students, lecturers and administrative staff at our university as well as for the implementation of collaborative research projects and Doctoral programmes. In the academic year 2023/2024 continued the presentation of Erasmus+ Programme to students in the Educational Qualification Degree /EQD/ of Bachelor from different specialisatiеs at UNWE. As a result of the events there was an increase in the outgoing mobility of students from the UNWE", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamelia Assenova.

Only for one semester during the reporting period a total of 117 outgoing mobilities were realized, and for the entire academic year - 131 mobilities of UNWE students in programme countries were implemented.

The Centre also supported the implementation of mobilities within the double degree programme in International Business jointly with the University of International Studies - Rome, Italy. In the current semester 5 students from the UNWE study under this Programme by the support of Erasmus+ Programme. During the reporting period 12 students in EQD of Bachelor took part in three intensive programmes at the University of Mannheim, Germany, the University of Economics and Business, Vienna and the Metropolitan University, Prague. Each mobility is registered in the programme's electronic system. After each selection of students for mobility, the UCSLM has an Information Meeting with the selected students to inform them about the stages of preparation, implementation and reporting of the mobility. The assessment of our students in foreign universities shows similar results as in our university, which is a proof of the objective assessment at the UNWE.

The UCSLM team also provides an ongoing support to students from foreign universities from the programme countries who have studied for one semester or one academic year at the UNWE under the Erasmus+ Programme. During the summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023, 52 ingoing student mobilities were realized and during the winter semester of the academic year 2023/2024, 74 ingoing student mobilities took place, total of 126 for the period. The interest of lecturers from the EU universities towards UNWE has also increased. During the reporting period 68 foreign lecturers and employees have implemented mobility at our University. Ingoing and outgoing mobility to and from Erasmus+ Programme /non-EU/ partner countries has expanded. During the period 4 ingoing students from Albania and 4 ones from Vietnam have studied at the UNWE-Sofia. 10 lecturers from partner countries have implemented both teaching and learning mobility. At the same time the UNWE lecturers and employees have realized 8 mobilities in Albania, Jordan, Vietnam and China.
