UNWE and Service Centrix Ltd. Signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership

The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Vladimir Kanchev, Manager of Service Centrix Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Service Centrix is a leading company that has significant experience and appropriate resources in the study of business processes, conducting analyses and implementing automation for specific services. It audits and provides solutions in digital records management and cyber security.

"As a leading university in the fields of economics, banking, politics, and management the UNWE also has a great capacity in information technology and cyber security. Over 50 people at the University are involved in this field and we also work on several research projects related to the software technology and data processing on which we can collaborate as well as support the education of undergraduates and Doctoral students at the UNWE by organizing public lectures, discussions and consultations", said Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. "I would also like to express our gratitude for your help during the last Prospective Students Campaign with the software robot you developed which automatically sent messages to the ranked applicants. We will partner with you in the next  Prospective Students Campaigns as well as in joint studies and research in information technology, public administration and local government", said the Rector.

"We could provide better opportunities for career development and realization for your students through visits of our clients - banks, large corporations and state and municipal structures. There is an opportunity to organize internships and practices there", said Vladimir Kanchev, Manager of Service Centrix Ltd., and Ivaylo Kanov, Commercial Director of Service Centrix Ltd. and Coordinator for the implementation of the Memorandum, added that they have implemented new technologies for automation of certain processes in the banks in Bulgaria which have contented both the management of the banks and their employees as well as their customers as the banking service has improved tremendously. "We will introduce your students to the analysis we do and the processes we still improve", said Ivaylo Kanov.

The Coordinator for the implementation of the Memorandum on behalf of the UNWE is Chief Assist. Dr. Petkan Iliev from the Economics Department.

The signing of the Memorandum was attended by Ivaylo Kanov, Commercial Director of Servis Centrix Ltd, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Rector of UNWE, Vladimir Kanchev, Manager of Servis Centrix Ltd, Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Acting Vice Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies, Chief Assist. Dr. Petkan Iliev

The Memorandum also includes holding collaborative scientific events, training, competitions and other events of common interest as well as joint project applications.
