UNWE Obtained the Trademark for the Best Administration

Prof. D.Sc. Borislav Borisov, researcher at the UNWE Institute of Economics and Politics, donated to the University the trademark for the Best Administration owned by him and registered at the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Under this brand competitions for the best administration have been held for several years and national surveys on the administrative capacity of the public administration in Bulgaria have been conducted. The will of the donor is for UNWE to continue developing these initiatives.

The Rector of the UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov expressed his gratitude to Prof. D.Sc. Borislav Borisov for the generous gesture and outlined that the donation would contribute to increase the intellectual assets of the University.

The UNWE has successful cooperation with many institutions of state administration as well as with the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria /NAMRB/ and the Association of Bulgarian Cities and Regions /ABCR/. The ownership of the trademark can allow us not only to hold competitions, but also to participate in projects for the modernization of public administration in the country, to establish efficient partnerships with other institutions working in the field of public administration and for our students to participate in events in this field.
