The Sixth Annual International Scientific Conference on Social Sciences NORDSCI Is Held at the UNWE

The sixth edition of the International Scientific Conference on Social Sciences NORDSCI is held for the second time at UNWE in a hybrid format providing the opportunity for participants from different countries to take part in scientific discussions and workshop sessions focused on the new normal after the pandemic crisis - consequences, impacts and predictions. The Conference includes scientific papers in various fields of social sciences and it is organized by the support of UNWE as host in partnership with Saima Consult Ltd.

At the opening ceremony Mehmed Kyuchukov, Chairman of the Conference, expressed thankfulness to the UNWE for the partnership and explained that the partnership with the oldest, most prestigious and largest business university in Bulgaria and South East Europe is not a coincidence. He outlined that he himself is a graduate of UNWE and he is proud of that. He emphasized on the importance of the Conference, the topics for discussion and the participants from all over the world.

Among the participants in the Conference are lecturers from the UNWE, including Prof. Dr. Yanka Totseva, Head of the Pedagogy Department who will present a paper on the Bulgarian Teachers and the Digitization of Education.

Papers will present also our lecturers Chief Assist. Dr. Sabrina Kalinkova from the Marketing and Strategic Planning Department /Bulgaria's Trade Footprint in the European Union / Decoding the Foundations for Bulgaria's Economic Future/ and Chief Assist. Dr. Aglika Kaneva from the Finance Department /European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's Activities in Response to the Economic Crisis Caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic/.

The Conference lasts three days and the participants are scholars from universities in Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, USA, Germany, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Latvia, Slovakia and the World Bank. The work of the Conference is organized in the following scientific fields - Economics and Management, Political Science, Sociology and Health, Education.
