The Rector Visited the University Toulouse Capitole
The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and a delegation of eight lecturers visited one of the partner universities of the European University ENGAGE.EU - University Toulouse Capitole. They discussed the future activities for the second phase of the European funding under the Erasmus+ Programme.
Prof. Dimtar Dimitrov met with the academic leadership of the host university to discuss concrete ideas for joint research projects within and outside the frameworks of the Alliance.

The French hosts organized discussion sessions on three main topics – academic activity, international cooperation and communication. In the discussions took part Assoc. Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Michael Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Daniela Ivanova, Secretary General for Academic Documentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yanko Hristozov, Secretary General for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angel Marchev, Vice Dean for Research of the Management and Administration Faculty, Chief Assist. Dr. Violeta Zlatkova, Head of the Verification and Validation Sector, Chief Assist. Dr. Ekaterina Bogomilova, Director of the International Master's Degree Programme in Economics of Defence and Security - specialization in Nuclear Security, Chief Assist. Dr. Ivan Valchanov, lecturer at the Media and Public Communication Department and Assist. Dr. Venko Andonov, lecturer at the Computer Science Department.

The visit also included a tour and introduction to the history of the French university as well as an informal meeting to discuss other future joint initiatives.

In the periog of 25 to 27 October in Rome it will be celebrated the Third Anniversary of the Alliance and will be officially launched the next stage of the work of the European University ENGAGE.EU and key participants from the UNWE will visit the event. Meanwhile in the period of 16 to 20 October our university will host the ENGAGE.EU Expedition Week on the Sustainable Cities.
