The UNWE Video Monitoring Equiped with New Sofware System
The Control Room for the cameras that cover the entire University campus is in room 1002 on the first floor of UNWE. There are about 150 cameras and they are located at key points - entrances, exits, barriers, stairs and lifts.
The video monitoring system has been upgraded. Sensors are used to record movement in and around the university building. The software scans vehicle numbers and times of entry and exit without the drivers having to use their card. If the vehicle is registered in the database, it is automatically recognized and allowed to access the University territory.
Vanya Burgudzhueva, Security Operator - Video Monitoring, shares about the convenience the system provides. When an event occurs - lost property, conflict or any other situation - it can be used the files from the cameras recording non stop.
