Our Rector Met with the Ambassador of Montenegro

The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and the Acting Ambassador of Montenegro to Bulgaria Mrs. Jelena Filipovic-Stoyanov discussed the opportunities for the development of cooperation in the education and scientific research.

Future partnerships between the UNWE and the Montenegrin universities through mobility, project development, research and organization of joint conferences and initiatives were discussed.

The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov outlined the importance of investing in education as well as the cooperation by promoting the exchanges between the universities having in mind the similarity of the history and language of both countries and invited Mrs. Jelena Filipovic-Stoyanov to open the new academic year 2023/2024 at the UNWE.

Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov highlighted the leading position of our university in the Bulgarian and European educational space and presented to the Ambassador the project ENGAGE.EU European University in which the UNWE and eight renowned universities are involved.

Mrs. Jelena Filipovic-Stoyanov expressed her readiness to assist in intensifying the cooperation between the UNWE and the Montenegrin universities and to inform the Montenegrin students about the opportunities and specialities offered by our university.
