The UNWE and the CloudCart Signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership

The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Nikolay Iliev, CEO of CloudCart, a leading company in the field of e-commerce, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the implementation of joint programmes, training, information exchange and joint events. The focus of the Memorandum is to organize the participation of CloudCart representatives in the training of students in relation to the new technologies used in e-commerce.

"Of great benefit to our students is the creation of educational training companies and I see our cooperation in this direction", said Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and emphasized on the active policy that the UNWE has in communication with the business: "With other partners from the business we organize academies, lectures, trainings, internships which can also be done with your company. The objective is for students to gain practical knowledge and opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills".

Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Vice-Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies, invited the CloudCart representatives to join the training discipline on Strategies for e-Business led by her. They will be able to introduce students to the new developments in e-commerce and the modern platforms, programmes and practices being used. "E-business related training is included in quite a few specialities taught at the UNWE in different Departments and we can make a strategy and training plan in relation to our collaboration. Combining the academic expertise of UNWE with the innovation and practical experience of CloudCart the students will get valuable lessons and useful skills in the field of online commerce, entrepreneurship and marketing", said Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova.

The meeting was also attended by Peter Lozanov who is Marketing Director at CloudCart and member of the Board of the UNWE Alumni University Center.
