The UNWE and the telecommunication company Vivacom have signed a contract for the supply of a fixed voice telecommunications service for the demands of the University which will upgrade the level of communication, including with the prospective students. The service also includes the establishment of a call center days before the start of the prospective student campaign – 12 June. It will make it easier for high school graduates to submit their documents for participation in examinations and ranking.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosen Kirilov, Vice Rector for Digitalization and Cybersecurity, Mr. Nikola Gechev, Corporate Sales Director at Vivacom, the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Mr. Alexander Stoychev, Account Manager at Vivacom, Mr. Samuil Avdala, Chief of Public Procurement and Auctions Division and Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Kiril Stoychev, Assistant Rector

The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov pointed out that the preparation was very serious and it was a contract at a qualitatively different level. He outlined the great importance of the service which will improve the relation and communication within the University and with the outside world.

"On the one hand, we are your partner and service provider, on the other hand, as a graduate of UNWE, I am honored and grateful for the trust and support throughout the process", said Mr. Nikola Gechev, Corporate Sales Director at Vivacom.

He assured that efforts would be made to ensure that everything is at high level during the implementation of the next phase and the result benefits the University. Mr. Gechev added that the opportunitties for further development are great as an integration with other systems, software robots could also be applied - "the foundation is laid, we can go far".

"The signing of this contract is a key milestone for our university for several reasons", emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosen Kirilov, Vice-Rector for Digitalization and Cybersecurity. "We switch from standard to software PBX which is a new type of service that all lecturers and employees will be able to use. The second essential component - in practice we will use a cloud service with a virtual PBX which does not require us to maintain a standalone PBX. The third component is that a call center is being created which is also a new type of service that would be provided by UNWE. It will be launched in a few days and will enable prospective students to get answers to all sorts of questions in a wide range of time, to have easier access to information and better service. All that will support the prospective student campaign which starts next week."
