"The career development is in sync with the personal development", said Mr. Kaloyanov, emphasizing on the changing conditions in times of evolving technology. "Now, within a human lifetime a lot of changes happen that have never happened before, and with the mass introduction of artificial intelligence, reality will change dramatically. The robot took the knowledge, it can do many things better than a human, but cannot take the social and practical experience, to negotiate, to solve complex cases with many points of view. It will change the professions of accountant and auditor, and you have to develop most of all the analytical thinking, intellect, intuition - these are the qualities you need for your career development."

The team of Crowe Bulgaria also presented to the audience the internship programmes provided by the Audit and Accounting Departments of the company. The summer internship programme is paid and provides an opportunity for permanent employment. Students can get a real insight into the nature of the profession and put their theoretical knowledge into practice improving their technical skills.

Chief Assist. Dr. Borislav Boyanov, lecturer at the Accounting and Analysis Department, along with the students took part in the discussion on the future changes not only in the profession of accountant and auditor but also on the forthcoming global changes. The future rising unemployment because of the robots taking over human functions was also discussed as well as the possible incorporation of a basic income for all people.
