The European Group for Territorial Cooperation HELICAS Held Its General Assembly

Today it was held the Annual General Assembly of HELICAS /Holistic Efficient Local Initiatives for Cooperation And Synergy/. In the event took part Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Rector of UNWE and Vice President of HELICAS and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Michail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs and member of the General Assembly.

During the session it was given high assessment for the scientific conference on the Territorial Cross-Border Cooperation in Southeastern Europe, Institutional Provision and Role of Financial Incentives held on 18 February 2023 at the UNWE and it was expressed thankfulness to the Rector of UNWE for the hospitality.

The General Assembly approved the organization's Audit Report for 2022 and adopted the Annual Budget for 2023. Opportunities for deepening the cooperation with other territorial cooperation groups in Southeastern Europe were also discussed as well as concrete opportunities for joint projects in the cross-border region Bulgaria-Greece.
