The Winners of the National English Speech and Debate Tournament and the Game "What Do You Know about the UNWE?" Were Awarded with Great Applause

The UNWE hosted and partnered the National English Speech and Debate Tournament for High School Pupils organized by the BEST Foundation. In Maxima Aula which has been crowded for two days the winners in the different categories were awarded with great applause. The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov bestowed the prizes to the winners of the game "What Do You Know about the UNWE?".

"Dear future colleagues", these were the words Prof. Dimitrov addressed the pupils. "I hope you have liked our university. Although we have a 100-year history, we are a modern digital university that will give you the opportunity to travel a lot and study in our partner network of 9 major economic universities in Europe."

He expressed his thankfulness to the Executive Director of BEST Foundation Mrs. Vanya Zlateva for the excellent joint work on the preparation of the competition and noted that the initiative has all the prerequisites to become a tradition for the UNWE.

The Rector Prof. Dimitrov announced the winners in the game "What Do You Know about the UNWE". They had the task to answer questions related to the University and to take a picture of the place they like the most. The big winner was Stefany Stoyanova who took a picture of her friends in front of the UNWE logo in the Central Lobby of the university. Prizes were also awarded to Ivayla Kirilova, Darina Stoeva, Alexandra Stoycheva, Janina Topalova, Elena Petrova /in the pictures below/.

The Rector also awarded the winners in different categories of the National English Speech and Debate Tournament.
