Cooperation Memorandum with Paysafe Bulgaria

The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Yulia Stepanchuk, representing Paysafe Bulgaria, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

"At the UNWE we prepare our students for the real working environment, we maintain long-term partnerships with the business for conducting internship and mentoring programmes. These include free business academies for the UNWE students from leading companies such as A1, Kaufland, Atos and others. I think we could successfully collaborate with Paysafe Bulgaria in this respect. The collaboration between the business and the University is extremely beneficial for both parties. I am convinced that our students are motivated and would be very interested in attending the Paysafe Bulgaria Business Academy if we organized one", said Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov adding that there are opportunities for joint initiatives with the company within the career forums that the Inter-University Center for Career Development organizes four times a year.

Yulia Stepanchuk presented the company Paysafe Bulgaria and emphasized that it has over 20 years of experience in the field of digital payments, the employees in the office in Sofia are over 1 400 and work in different areas such as product and software development, customer service, risk management, accounting and control, IT services. The cooperation with the UNWE in the direction of organizing academies and internship opportunities would be very useful for both students and for Paysafe Bulgaria in the search for the right people for a particular position.

The Memorandum covers the bilateral cooperation in the preparation of joint projects and their subsequent implementation, the exchange of information and publications on activities and major events held by Paysafe Bulgaria and UNWE, as well as assistance for the participation of company representatives in presentations to students, in lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings or other events organized by the University. Partnership and assistance for holding Bachelor`s, Master`s and Doctoral degree programmes at the UNWE for employees of Paysafe Bulgaria is envisaged.

The document also provisions that the UNWE and Paysafe Bulgaria will cooperate by informing the university students about the internships and public initiatives of the company.

Paysafe Bulgaria will assist the participation of lecturers and other representatives of UNWE in meetings, lectures, expertise, consultations, statistical and other studies and events organized by the company.

The coordinator of the Memorandum from the UNWE is Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Vice Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies, and from the Paysafe Bulgaria is Yulia Stepanchuk, Head of Recruitment Team.
