University Representatives Met with Students from Pravets, Botevgrad and Vidin

Representatives of UNWE met with pupils graduating from the high schools in Pravets, Botevgrad and Vidin. They presented the advantages of the largest economic university in the country.

Prof. Dr. Yanka Totseva, Head of the Pedagogy Department and Vasil Pavlov, PhD student at the National and Regional Security Department, introduced the pupils at Aleko Konstantinov Specialized High School with Foreign Languages Teaching in Pravets to the admission conditions, the ways of application, the specialties they can choose from and the opportunities for their future realization and career development.

Prof. Dr. Yanka Totseva highlighted the advantages of the University over other higher schools and explained the procedures and deadlines for application and enrolment.

After Pravets, the UNWE lecturers visited Botevgrad and met with the pupils from Acad. Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

The UNWE also participated in Panorama of Higher Education - Vidin 2023. The event is organized for the first time and it is under the patronage of the Mayor Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov and the Center for Support of Personal Development with the subject of activity career guidance and counseling - Vidin. 15 universities took part in it.

Chief Assist. Dr. Kristian Zhelev from the International Economic Relations and Business Department, Chief Assist. Dr. Borislava Stoimenova from the Marketing and Strategic Planning Department and Maria Bozhkova from the Marketing Sector, Rector's Office Directorate, personally told the graduates about the history and advantages of our university. Chief Assist. Dr. Kristian Zhelev emphasized on the cooperation of UNWE with foreign universities and the fact that at the university is taught not only in Bulgarian but also in English. It was outlined that for a consecutive year the UNWE was announced as the most prestigious university in the field of Economics. The University offers 46 Bachelor's degree programmes on modern curricula based on the digitalization. It is extremely important that the UNWE has a partnership with leading universities in the world, giving the opportunity to obtain 2 diplomas - Bulgarian and from the partner university. Scholarships are also available under the Erasmus+ Programme for studing abroad and the UNWE is also part of the elite European university network ENGAGE.EU.

Another advantage of UNWE is the good material facilities, the renovated dormitories with newly opened children's rooms in them as well as the new academic building. Important for students in all three cities was the information that the UNWE would not increase the tuition fees.
