"It`s our pleasure to award the diplomas to students who have graduated from this Dual Master's Degree Programme. We are here to express our gratitude and respect to our students who even in a situation of Covid-19 and other circumstances have successfully completed this programme", said the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and added: "I would like to underline that we have very good partnership relations with the Italian university, we have signed agreements under the Erasmus+ Programme and our colleagues implement successful exchange. With the Italian side we are also partners with LUISS University in Rome with whom we are part of a powerful consortium of nine leading European business universities and it is a project of European Commission for a network of universities which we believe is the future of the European business universities. This cooperation is very important for us, especially for our educational process because within this project dual programmes are implemented, resources are shared and many other benefits are gained. Our university has a huge potential to increase the quality and intensity of this kind of cooperation, so we will continue to work with Italian universities in this direction".

"I am very happy that the cooperation between the UNWE and the UNINT is fruitful. The evidence of this is the double diploma obtained by the students graduating from the Master's degree programme. The graduation day is the culmination of the studies and it is a unique experience that I myself remember over the years as one of the most exciting and beautiful moments of my personal life", said Assoc. Prof. Hebe Nanoni and outlined: "I am honoured to award your diplomas. As an Italian born in a country where the culture and beauty are part of the home, I am sure that you as students will be able to transform in the best way what you have received from your lecturers and from the people who have contributed to your formation as persons. So accept my best wishes for your future development."

Prof. Dr. Matilda Alexandrova-Boshnakova, Vice Rector for Educational Activities of UNWE, pointed out that it was a pleasure for her to attend this ceremony and wished the graduating students to use in their future business endeavors the valuable experience they have obtained during their training on the Programme.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetla Boneva, Secretary General for Research Projects of UNWE and coordinator of the Programme by the Bulgarian pointed out that it was the first dual Master's degree programme of UNWE which was established in 2017. The International Economic Relations and Business Department is the leading department for the Programme. The University has put a lot of effort to develop so she expressed her contentment that the Programme is successful.

"Studying abroad is traditionally associated with a lot of costs, but under this programme it is possible that the student, i.e. his parents, will pay nothing. It is possible to apply for scholarships on the Erasmus+ Programme as well as for help from the municipality of Lazio in Rome. And, in fact, the living expenses of UNWE students while they study in Rome are fully covered. The other very important advantage of this program is that besides the business knowledge it also gives the opportunity to meet another culture, to get to know a world city, extremely interesting, enriching personal experience in a foreign environment. This programme is useful for both Bulgarian and Italian students because in Bulgaria there are many businesses that are run by Italians and are related to Italy", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasil Petkov, Head of the International Economic Relations Department.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Simeonova, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the International Economics and Politics Faculty, also greeted the Master students and their parents. I wish that they will bring you great contentment with their future professional realization, which I hope we as a university will also be proud of", said Assoc. Prof. Simeonova.

"I would like to express my thankfulness to everyone, especially to Assoc. Prof. Svetla Boneva for her unconditional support, I would like to thank to the UNWE for providing us this opportunity to travel abroad, to study at UNINT in Rome which was a great experience for the students and I hope for everyone", said the graduate Panayot Atanasov and pointed out: "We were fortunate to be involved in the Programme in a bit of a strange pandemic years which faced us to some difficult situations and times when nothing was clear but the UNWE and UNINT made everything easy for us and I will never forget my period of study in Italy, it will help me in the future for everything I want to achieve".
