The representatives told about the activities of Milton Friedman Institute to the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and to the Secretary-General for International Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yanko Hristozov demonstrating their desire for future joint initiatives and realization of potential common projects.
In this regard, it was agreed to be signed a memorandum of understanding between the institutions. The Milton Friedman Institute finds his roots in the will of a group of scholars, politicians and executives, who wanted to promote an association, a think tank, which could rediscover and promote the theories, ideas and proposals of liberalism and his principal branches and schools of thought. It is the principal objective pursued by the Institute, through conferences, publications and debates, which help to promote and spread liberal principles into society, without limiting itself to the academic and political sphere, but expanding to the business and media fields.
The Rector gave as present to the Executive Director the prestigious university edition of the Board of Trustees "The Irreplaceable Milton Friedman".
