Six Austrian Universities Interested in Joint Projects and Programmes Visited the UNWE

Representatives of the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt /FHWN/, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Entrepreneurial School and Modul University Vienna visited the UNWE. Assoc. Prof. Mihail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs met the guests saying: "You have found the right partner - the largest, the eldest and the most prestigious economic university in Southeast Europe".

In the meeting took also part Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Zinoviev, Director of the Center for Energy Business and Infrastructure, Chief Assist. Dr. Yury Tsenkov, Director of the Center for Research and Educational Projects and Mrs. Daniela Dimova from the Austrian Embassy in Bulgaria.

Assoc. Prof. Musov presented to the guests the achievements of UNWE emphasizing on the leading position of our university in Bulgarian higher education and science. He outlined the activity of the European University ENGAGE.EU where the UNWE is in partnership with the WU and seven other universities from Europe. The representatives of the Austrian academic circles made a brief presentation of their universities and their expressed interest in cooperation with the UNWE in the following areas: exchange of students and lecturers, participation in joint research and educational projects, and the establishment of joint Master's degree programmes.

The meeting ended with a group photo in front of the monument of Prof. Stephan Bobchev - founder and first Rector of UNWE.
