BBC Radio Broadcast a Programme about Bulgaria with the Participation of Lecturer from the UWNE

BBC Radio devoted a 9-minute programme to the events of 1997 - hyperinflation, popular discontent and the crisis that led to the incorporation of the Currency Board in Bulgaria. In the programme participated Chief. Assist. Dr. Diyana Miteva, Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Economics and Politics, UNWE.

The authoritative media tells about the biggest crisis in Bulgaria through the eyes of the world-famous economist Prof. Steve Hanke who participated in the incorporation of the Currency Board system in Bulgaria. At that time he had also worked with another famous economist and lecturer at the UNWE - Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Nikolay Nenovsky, Director of the Monetary Research Center.

The “Witness History” program with presenter Matthew Pintus was broadcast on August 22, 2022 and reached an audience of 50 million listeners.
