Delegation from Karatekin University Visited the UNWE
Prof. Dr. Harun ÇIFTÇI, Rector of Karatekin University, Turkey, visited the UNWE in relation to the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the two universities. The official delegation from Turkey also included Prof. Dr. Mehmet Erdem, Dr. Suayyip Turan and Mr. Abdulqadir Gökmen. The delegation was welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Musov.

Assoc. Prof. Yanko Hristozov, Secretary General for International Cooperation, paid attention to the opportunities for mobility of lecturers and students between the two countries. The issues of partnership in the development of educational and research projects within the framework of various international programmes were discussed.

An agreement is to be signed between the two countries under the Erasmus+ Programme which will allow to implement the mobility of lecturers and students.

Karatekin University is one of the most preferred state universities in Turkey known for its good contacts and relations with Bulgaria. Every year more than 100 Turkish students enroll for their internship in Bulgaria.
