Experts Discussed on The Actual Issues of The Accounting Profession

By a round table discussion on the Actual Problems of the Accounting Profession was set up the beginning of a number of events dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty of UNWE. In the discussing forum participated some eminent representatives of the accounting science as Prof. D.Sc. (Econ) Ivan Dushanov, Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Mihail Dinev, Prof. Dr. Stoyan Stoyanov, Head of the Accountancy and Analysis Department as well as the Dean of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty Prof. Dr. Snejana Basheva. 

Two main reports outlined the discussing issues in the round table forum and specified the directives in the debate. “The European Commission suggestions approved on November, 30th, 2011 for alteration of the law frame in the field of audit” was commented in presentation of Boyko Ushev, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Graduated Experts- Accountants, a specialist having 18 years practice as an auditor. He examined the General Instructions for Alteration of the Directive 2006/43/EO and the Regulations about The Comprehensive Audit of The Public Interest Enterprises as he outlined the motives for the upcoming alterations, the so called “Green book”, the implementation of “Unified European Auditing Passport”, etc.

A continuation of the report of Boyko Kostov was the presentation of the Chief Assistant Dr. Hristo Mavrudiev on the Alterations in European Legislation and The Challenges of The Accounting Profession. In it the lecturer emphasized on the general principles, the alternative basis for evaluation, the regulations about the balance and report, etc.
