Lecturers from the UNWE Started a Podcast on Business History

Prof. D.Sc. Pencho Penchev, Head of the Department of Political Economy and Dr. Georgy Minev, Lecturer at the Department of Media and Public Communications, will tell about the business past in an understandable and fascinating way.

The Business History is like a rear-view mirror of a car - it's important to look in it so you don't crash. Guided by this motive the media Money.bg created the first podcast for Business History in Bulgarian entitled Money through the Centuries. It tells curious details of the business past in an understandable language and in a fascinating way.

The presenters of the podcast are Prof. D.Sc. Pencho Penchev, Head of the Department of Political Economy at UNWE and the only Professor of Economic History in Bulgaria, and Georgy Minev - Doctor of Economic Journalism, Lecturer at the Department of Media and Public Communications at UNWE and Editor-in-Chief of the media products of the brand Money.bg. In the future episodes other trained experts on the relevant topics will find a place in it.

The first episode of the podcast entitled War, Neutrality, Inflation: The Experience of 1939 became one of the most listened to and ranked at the top of the Apple Podcasts and Spotify charts. It is devoted to the business similarities during the year before entering of Bulgaria in the Second World War when the country is neutral and the current situation in which the country is neutral but its economy suffers from an imminent military conflict.
