Conference of the Bulgarian European Studies Association Marked the 65th Anniversary of the Treaties of Rome

"EU after Covid-19: Effects, Lessons, Perspectives" was the topic of the Annual Scientific Conference of the Bulgarian Association for European Studies /ECSA-Bulgaria/.

At the opening of the Conference the President of ECSA-Bulgaria Prof. Dimitar Hadjinikolov outlined that the choice of the date for the event is not accidental - March 25, 2022 marks the 65th anniversary of the signing of the Treaties of Rome which set the beginning of the current European Union.

The Conference was held online. In it took part lecturers and Doctoral students from "St. Kliment Ohridski" University of Sofia, UNWE, New Bulgarian University, "Neofit Rilski" Southwestern University, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The Forum was organized in three panels. The first of them was focused on the legal, institutional and political aspects of integration, the second one was focused on the socio-economic processes in the EU, and the third one presented the EU's foreign economic relations.

Dr. Monika Moraliyska /"The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on EU Trade with Its Main Trading Partners in Asia"/ and the Doctoral student Radoslav Pashov /"How the Lessons of the Global Financial Crisis /2008-2009/ Lead to Better Labour Market Turbulences Management during the Covid Pandemic"/.
