SUCCESS STORY MASTERCLASS Was Held at the UNWE

Financially Independent - a Dream with a Deadline was the topic of the Masterclass organized by UNWE jointly with the Postbank and Georgy Zahariev.

The meeting was held in the UNWE Small Conference Hall and the event was simultaneously broadcast online on the MS Teams platform and lively on the UNWE Facebook page.

The moderator of the meeting was Atanas Dimitrov, Director of the Interuniversity Center for Career Development. He greeted the participants and gave the floor to Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Vice-Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies.

"I would like to greet you on behalf of the Rector of our university Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. I am glad that our cooperation with the Postbank starts with this Masterclass where Georgy Zahariev will present to you the main accents in achieving success and financial independence", said Prof. Stoyanova. "The actual issues related to the cryptocurrencies and the real estate investments will also be part of the lecture that Mr. Zahariev will deliver. He will also reveal the benefits of paid internships that Postbank provides for all our students and I am sure that the colleagues of speciality Finance who are here in the Hall will be very interested in them. Thank you very much to all who are here in the Hall. I am glad to see you live after almost two years, and I would like to thank to all my colleagues who follow the event online. I am sure the financial lessons and advices that what you hear today will benefit your financial independence.”

Desislava Gospodinova from the Postbank team joined in the meeting online and greeted the participants:

During the Masterclass Georgy Zahariev introduced to the participants how to achieve financial independence and what it takes to succeed in 2022. He gave advices to students how to be competitive and achieve their dreams. He also concerned some psychology elements of success and what skills are necessary to achieve our goals.

The lecturer presented his views on the future development of the labor market and business emphasizing what skills we will need in the future. How young people can be part of the future if they are interested in topics as finance, cryptocurrencies and fintech were also some of the issues examined in the Masterclass.

Georgy Zahariev also explained to students how they can apply for the Internship Programme at the Postbank.

Georgy Zahariev is the founder of Finance Academy - an anthropologist by education, investor and entrepreneur by vocation with over 7 years of experience in the business and innovations. In his career he has occupied the positions of Google's Manager on the project "Digital Garage" for Bulgaria, Digital Consultant, Business Development Director at SoftUni. He founded one of the first real estate management companies for short-term rentals in Bulgaria more than 6 years ago and currently the company manages his personal real estate portfolio in Sofia. Georgy is part of the Management Board of the Association for Tourist Properties and Innovations where he shares strategic priorities for the tourism development and for Bulgaria as a modern business destination. For the last 2 years he has been a managing partner in Zahara Consult - a consulting company providing boutique services for digital marketing and positioning in the field of finance, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, NFT and software solutions with clients from 3 continents.
