Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Valentin Kisimov |
Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Valentin Kisimov, Chief Coordinator of the project Digitalization of Economy in Big Data Environment, said that the construction of the Unified Aggregated Mega High Speed Integration Network is an essential part of the prject due to two facts.“According to the first one, the project partners have their own equipment that should be tied into a distributed system through the networks that will be created. The second fact concerns the point that the project covers 5 types of networks by which we are trying to cover all possible data no matter where are they in order to include them in this system. It is because if we are digitising different areas of the economy we need data from different sources and with this project we are ensuring integration of all the different components".

The implementation of the Agreement will deliver a Unified Aggregated Mega High Speed Network for Integration between 6 partner organisations and servicing IoT devices for Big Data. The partners are: "Paisii Hilendarsky" University of Plovdiv, Technical University, Gabrovo; University of Economics, Varna; "Angel Kanchev" University of Rousse, Institute of Information and Communication Technologies at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The unified network will cover 5 types of networks integrated with each other and the integration will also provide a single point for data reception and transmission located in the infrastructure of UNWE.
