An interesting discussion was organized by the Students Association for The International Relations Research and Nadejda Neynsky, European deputy from The Blue Coalition - United People`s Party. The debate was on The Enlargement of The European Union: “For” and “Against”. Participants in discussion were students of UNWE and other universities from the specialities International Relations, European Studies, Political Science and the professional field of Political Sciences.

An occasional idea in a conversation with a colleague of yours became an original cause for this discussion, turned Nadejda Neynsky to students participating in the polemics. She determined the theme as a key issue related with a lot of challenges. I`ll be interesting to listen to your ideas, I`m sure they are non-standard, added Neynsky and defined the format of the meeting as especially valuable.

“The reason for discovering various things is not that I`m so smart. I don`t have any special talent. I`m only passionately curious”, reminded the thought of Albert Einstein to students Antoaneta Vasileva, Dean of The international Economics and Politics Faculty as she appealed to them to be active and unconventional, to support their thesis by knowledge, arguments and facts.

Congratulations for your enthusiasm to conduct this discussion, greeted the organizers and participants Prof. Dinko Dinkov from The International Relations Department who gave a starting point for discussion by his findings that if Europe miss its historic chance to become united it will be hard to play a key role in the world space.

the statements of participants in the discussion.
Students had prepared their thesis and waited their turn
to expose them in the discussion

The participants in discussion justified their points of view on the theme of the meeting by their statements – “for” and “against”. Students who have done the most well-grounded and substantiated thesis will have the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Brussels and also to examine closely the work of one of the European Union institutions.
