7th International Scientific Conference on Economic and Monetary Issues

"The New Normality after the Pandemic - Economic Perspective" is the topic of the 7^th Scientific Conference on Economic and Monetary Issues. The organizers of the event are the Center for Monetary and Economic Research, the Institute of Economics and Politics and the Finance Department of UNWE jointly with the Union of Economists in Bulgaria. The European Association for Comparative Economic Research /EACES/ is also a partner of the event.

The beginning of the Conference was set by the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. “Today is a special day for us because since a long time for the first time our university is full of students. People are already tired of the various methods for dealing with the pandemic. It is time to think about our future and look at the aspects of the new time. I wish success to the Conference!”

Over 50 presentations will be delivered during the Conference. We will see what is the new normality after all the problems that have occurred. It was said at the opening by one of the organizers of the event Assoc. Prof. Dr. Petar Chobanov, Director of the Institute of Economics and Politics. “The topics are important and discuss the major problems that arose in the economy after the pandemic. Good luck to everyone, I can't wait to hear your reports!”, added Assoc. Prof. Chobanov /in the picture below/.

Prof. Dr. Tatiana Hubenova-Delisivkova, President of the Union of Economists in Bulgaria, pointed out: “This initiative has been going on for years and it is a real cause for pride. The topics development and the participation of more and more presenters proves the importance of the Conference. It is very important for all of us that during the Conference many important social and economic topics are discussed”.

The focus of the 7^th Scientific Conference was on the new normality after the pandemic crisis and the economic and social prospects for the world. Banking, Crises, Currencies / International Economics / Monetary and Financial Economics were the topics of the three sessions of the event.

During the international online meeting their views, opinions and viewpoints related to the monetary and economic policy shared lecturers from France, Britain, Germany, USA, Cameroon, Brazil, etc.
