Prof. Karla Griffy-Brown Described The Future of The Communication Environment

Prof. Karla Griffy-Brown read to students and lecturers of the university a public lecture on The High Technologies in Society and Innovations. The meeting was realized by the assistance of the USA Embassy in out country.

Karla Griffy-Brown who is a Professor at the Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management in USA and Head of the Center for Academic Practices at the same university showed a really impressive presentation followed by numerous questions. The woman guest-lecturer examined innovations as new values, the bisiness structures transformations, their demand for development of the information technologies and services and in that relation she represented the new digital ecosystem type “cloud”. In the world of the future, however, the necessity from the familiar to us kind of information system won`t be replaced, explained Prof. Brown who examined also the digital educational environment in the century of the communication connectivity.

The public lecture was opened by Prof. Valentin Kisimov, Vice-Rector of UNWE who presented Prof. Karla Griffy-Brown as a leading specialist advising the schools about the labour market dynamics and connecting the business education with the real sector. Brown has worked at the Kennedy Space Centre of NASA and she has lectured on Innovations and Technologies Management in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan. It is her first visit in our country.
