At A Meeting on Together More Informed since Today Students Realized How to Invest in Themselves

Students appraised their opportunities for career development as they up build their education by parallel learning. At the consecutive information meeting on Together More Informed since Today which was the first meeting of a kind for 2012 were presented the students some illustrative examples for additional professional qualification at the Institute of Post-Graduate Qualification as well as the information and consultative activity of the Inter-University Center for Career Development. The meeting was organized by the Students Council.

The Institute of Post-Graduate Qualification to UNWE is the place where students can acquire additional knowledge and possibilities, pointed out Assoc. Prof. Martcho Markov, Director of the Institute. He also outlined that the Institute of Post-Graduate Qualification has highly qualified team of specialists, the education is practically oriented, certificates are internationally recognized and respond to the European requirements. ”Such meetings are very useful because the information is a huge resource. The man needs to be informed to make the right decision”, said to students Assoc. Prof. Martcho Markov.

The main objective of the Center for Facultative Education to the Institute of Post-Graduate Qualification is to provide an additional qualification and to prepare adaptive and competitive specialists mainly having practical knowledge and skills for economic and public practice, pointed out Assoc. Prof. Tatyana Daskalova, Director of the Center. Assoc. Prof. Daniela Kojuharova, Head of the Department for Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics presented the activity of the School for Foreign Languages pointing out the courses for general language knowledge as well as the specialized and certificate courses. Courses for inside auditors were presented by Assoc. Prof. Daniela Ivanova, Director of the Center for Quality Management and International Projects to the Institute of Post-Graduate Qualification.

“Our Career Center is the only one of its kind and it mediates to be successfully implemented the important step from the university to the business”, outlined Assoc. Prof. Jordan Bliznakov, Director of the Inter-University Career Center to the UNWE. He turned the attention of the audience to the opportunities for professional career consultation and development. The center supports the students in their professional orientation, assists the relations and co-operation with the business and works for the full realization of young specialists. Assoc. Prof. Bliznakov presented in details the main activities of the Inter-University Center for Career Development related to its information and consultative work, the collaboration and the regional European-Desk Unit.
