UNWE wins CIMA Excellence Award

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) distinguished UNWE during at the first-ever CIMA Excellence Awards virtual ceremony on 11 December 2020. Among over 200 nominees, Dr Michael Musov – associate professor at the “Accounting and Analysis” Department, has won a CIMA Teaching Excellence Award. This award recognizes a CIMA subject lecturer who has demonstrated excellent engagement with CIMA students and effectively helped them to enhance their understanding of the subject taught.

Musov’s award category is “Country winner” for Europe. Country winners for UK and Ireland are Fiona Dearing (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK), Nadeeka Withanage (London South Bank University, UK), Alison Lane (University of South Wales, UK), and Margaret Saunders (Birmingham City University, UK).
