UNWE Lecturer in the International Commission on Accreditation of Master’s in Public Administration of Uganda Management Institute

Prof. Dr. Polya Katsamunska from the Public Administration Department took part in the International Commission on Accreditation of Master’s in Public Administration of Uganda Management Institute, Kampala, Republic of Uganda. More than 3 000 students from Uganda, Kenia, Tanzania, Ruanda and other Central and East African countries study at the Institute in Master`s and Doctoral degree programmes in Management and Administration.

The duration of education in Master`s degree programme is four semesters. It consists of 12 modules during the first two semesters and then research work and Master`s thesis defence during the third and the fourth semester.

Meeting with employers from the state institutions

In the Commission were included three members of the International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training Programs (ICAPA): Chairman - Prof. Allan Rosenbaum (Florida International University, USA), Dr. Rachel Emas (School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University - Newark, USA) and Prof. Polya Katsamunska (UNWE, BG).
