Memorandum of Cooperation between the UNWE and the Bulgarian Red Cross

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and the President of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) Acad. Hristo Grigorov, Dr.h.c., signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between both institutions (in the picture below).

The document provisions cooperation between the UNWE and BRC in attracting students from the Law Faculty (LF) to participate in activities related to the dissemination of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL), in providing trainings and seminars in IHL and opportunities of participation in practical lessons and competitions as well as in the organization of lectures, conferences and events related to the IHL.

The UNWE (through LF) will provide information to the BRC about the educational programmes at our university and qualifications acquired by the students, will assist and organize the dissemination of informational materials about the trainings, seminars, projects, contests and opportunities of volunteer activities organized by the BRC, will carry out presentations and other events with the participation of representatives of BRC.

The BRC will provide information to the UNWE about the student internships in the structures of BRC, will provide also additional opportunities of volunteer activities for students from the LF and the other UNWE Faculties.
