The Rector Visited the 20th Jubilee Fair of NTBG
Be healthy, successful, ambitious, tenacious and consistent in acquiring new knowledge and skills. We expect you become members of the UNWE large and influential academic family. Be inquisitive, eager to learn, smiling and confident in your strengths and abilities. Study hard because thus you invest in your future. These were the words the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev greeted and called “future students of UNWE” the participants in the 20th Jubilee Fair on the project Integrative Practical Training devoted to the 106th Anniversary of the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBG) (in the picture below).
Prof. Stattev reminded the words of Dr. Ivan Grozev, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the opening of NTBG on 25 February 1913: “Your happiness and future depends only on you, on your ability to use your competences, energy, initiative and entrepreneur skills. You are the smiths of your own destiny”. The Rector wished the pupils: “Forge your destiny! I am sure you will succeed!”
The Rector greeted Mrs. Emilia Ivanova, Director of NTBG and member of the Coordinating Council of AESB as well as the pupils, teachers and alumni of NTBG on the occasion of the 106th Anniversary of the Gymnasium:
“Your high school – the largest high school in Bulgaria is an authoritative educational institution where study one of the best Bulgarian pupils. Over the past 106 years it has remained loyal to its traditions and to the primordial educational values and today it looks confidently in the future. So it is not occasional that thousands of its graduates are inseparable part of the national elite and lots of them are also graduates of UNWE.
The relations between the UNWE and NTBG are a wonderful example of exceptionally good cooperation between an elite university and elite gymnasium, between the largest Bulgarian university and the largest Bulgarian high school - a model of the relation between the secondary and higher education.
Thank you heartily for the honest, professional, institutional and collegial partnership, for your intensive activity at the AESB among whose founders is also the NTBG.
With all my heart and soul I wish to all colleagues from the NTGB health, good luck, optimism and more achievements, new ideas and courage.

Prof. Stattev, Assoc. Prof. Slavova and Prof. Feschiyan looked at the stalls and talked to students presenting 56 training firms during the current edition of the Fair (in the pictures below).
The National Trade and Banking High School is the largest school in the country where study more than 1250 pupils in 45 classes. A great part of the NTBG alumni are students and graduates of UNWE.
