The Rector of Economic University of Bratislava - Honorary Professor of UNWE

The Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev announced the UNWE Academic Council decision to honour the title of Honorary Professor of UNWE in Marketing and Trade to Prof. Dipl. Ing. Ferdinand Dano, PhD, Rector of the Economic University of Bratislava and awarded the Honorary plaque to the new holder of high distinction. It took place during the Scientific Practical Conference on the EU Strategy for the Danube Region: Opportunities and Challenges in which Prof. Dano participated.

In 2013 in the Slovak capital the first Agreement of Academic Cooperation between the UNWE and the Economic University of Bratislava was signed by Prof. Statty Stattev and Prof. Ferdinand Dano in the presence of both Presidents of Bulgaria and Slovakia at that time Rosen Plevneliev and Ivan Gašparovic.

The result of that Agreement was a longstanding fruitful cooperation, Agreement of Students and Lecturers Mobility and preparation of joint Master`s degree programme providing double diploma that will be started soon due to the great contribution of Prof. Dano to the successful development of relations between both universities, pointed out the Rector of UNWE.

Prof. Stattev greeted Prof. Dano for his re-election as Rector of the Economic University of Bratislava.

I am thankful for the assessment the UNWE has given to me. I hope that it is a reflection of the longstanding cooperation between our both universities. During my second mandate as Rector I will work to strengthen and expand the friendship relations through the joint Master`s degree programme and intensive exchange of students and lecturers, declared Prof. Dano (in the picture below).
