Informational Meeting on the Project for Encouraging the Entrepreneurial Initiative

Informational meeting on the project No. BG05M90P001-1.23-0055-C01 - Encouraging the Entrepreneurial Initiative was held in the Scientific Councils Hall. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy on the Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2014-2020 co-financed by the EU through the European Social Fund (ESF). The beneficiary is the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development Foundation – CEED Bulgaria which organizes specialized training on entrepreneurship. The meeting was initiated by the Inter-University Center for Career Development (ICCD), Student Council and CEED Bulgaria.

It is the consecutive event intended to students. Its objective is to help their training in a specific field as the entrepreneurship, outlined Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosen Kirilov.

In the Scientific Councils Hall

Mr. Nikolay Yarmov presented the project. Its objective is to organize specialized trainings on entrepreneurship related to the acquisition of entrepreneurial, managerial and business knowledge and skills, elaboration of business ideas and plans for independent business activity management.

The project aims to encourage the entrepreneurship in Southwestern Bulgaria including also Sofia-city and Sofia region, explained Mr. Stanislav Chervenkov (in the picture below). Everyone can take part in the initiative for free. The idea of the project is to reach to 150 unemployed, inactive people i.e. such as students and working citizens. The project objective includes three activities – information and motivation to develop independent business activity, organization of training on entrepreneurship and consultant services.

Students from the UNWE were the first ones made aware of the project and invited to join it. The UNWE students shouldn`t be afraid of eventual failure. Try all the time until you succeed, said Mr. Yarmov.
