Lecturers from the UNWE Participated in Eurasian Forum

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvia Trifonova from the Finance Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgy Zabunov, Head of the Real Estate Property Department took part in the 26th International Scientific Conference EBES 2018 held at the University of Finance and Administration (VSFS), Prague.

The Conference was organized by the Eurasia Business and Economics Society (EBES) established in 2008 to unite scientists from all over the world in the field of economics, finance and business not only in the Eurasian region but also in a global scale.

In the scientific section devoted to Inflation and Currency Conversion Rates, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvia Trifonova presented her scientific report on the Empirical Evidence of the Interest Rate Transmission Channel of the ECB’s Unconventional Monetary Policy in the Visegrád Group Member States.

Possibilities for Expanding the Use of Means-End-Chains – it was the topic of the report presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgy Zabunov in the scientific section devoted to Marketing.

Lots of issues were discussed during the Forum as the issues of international trade, human resources management, industrial organizations, corporate finance, banking, empirical research of developing economies, labour market, public economics, health economics, tourism and energy research. Elaborations in the field of innovations economics, behavioural finance, monetary economics, accountancy and auditing, corporate management, investment and risk management were also presented.

During the Forum Assoc. Prof. Trifonova and Assoc. Prof. Zabunov met with their colleagues from universities of Turkey, Czech Republic, Spain, USA, India, Slovak Republic, etc. They discussed issues related to the economic growth, FDI, financial policy and the business of SMEs.
