Student Paper Contest on the Bulgarian EU Membership: Eleven Years Later

The International Economic Relations and Business Department jointly with the Student Council held a Contest for economic paper on the Bulgarian EU Membership: Eleven Years Later.

In the student section of the Contest which was part of the 16th International Scientific Conference of the Department participated fifteen teams of students who presented their papers. The best three ones were awarded cash prizes and certificates.

Members of the jury were Chief Assist. Dr. Silvia Kirova (Chairwoman), Chief Assist. Dr. Vasil Gechev, Chief Assist. Dr. Stela Zhivkova, Assist. Dr. Valentin Bilyansky, Assist. Dr. Kristian Zhelev, Daniela Mihneva, Doctoral student, Daniel Parushev, Chairman of the Student Senate and Martin Petkov, Student Council Secretary. The jury awarded as the best the student project Mini Bulgaria presented by Leda Valeva and Lazar Dzhambazov from the speciality Administration and Management in English. The second place occupied Alexander Dimitrov, student from the speciality International Economic Relations and the third place – Alesandro Bonifazi, student from the specilaity International Business, joint Master`s degree programme between the UNWE and UNINT, Italy.
