The Ambassador of Morocco Visited the UNWE

Partnership of UNWE with the economic universities in Morocco (including in the frameworks of Erasmus+ programme) and opportunities for joint Master`s degree programmes were discussed by the Vice Rector for Scientific Research Activity Prof. Dr. Valentin Goev and H.E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria. At the meeting attended Prof. Dr. Polya Katsamunska, Vice Dean of the Management and Administration Faculty, Prof. Dr. Daniela Koh-Kozhuharova, Head of the Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics Department, Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Stanka Tonkova, Director of the Center for Research and Educational Projects and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paskal Zhelev, Secretary General for International Cooperation (in the picture below).

UNWE is the largest business university in the Southeastern Europe with its more than 21 thousand students and 550 lecturers, presented the university Prof. Goev and introduced to the Ambassador the academic and scientific research activity of UNWE, specialities in the English language, etc.

H.E. Zakia El Midaoui told about Morocco and shared that lots of students could be interested in the education in her country. I am impressed of the material facilities of UNWE and the open nature of Bulgarians, declared the Ambassador and made a commitment to meet with Rectors of universities in Morocco to recommend them cooperation with the UNWE. She also expressed her desire to deliver public lecture to students and lecturers of UNWE in the beginning of the new academic year.

H.E. El Midaoui talk also with students from Africa and Asia studying in the International  Master`s Degree Programme in Economics of Defence and Security, specialization Nuclear Security (in the picture below). The students shared that they had felt at the UNWE like at home and the Ambassador expressed her confidence that their positive impressions would attract their African colleagues to study at the UNWE.

H.E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui visited also the Center for Intellectual property.

In the end of her visit H.E. El Midaoui took part in an international forum on the project Enhancement of the UNWE Research Potential and Improvement of Conditions for Implementation of Scientific Research – Investment with Many Dimensions (in the picture above).
