UNWE Is a Host of the Supply Chain Planning Academy of Coca Cola HBC AG
At the UNWE it was held 5 days training that is part of the Supply Chain Planning Academy of Coca Cola HBC AG. The event was organized at the initiative of the UNWE Scientific Research Center for Logistic Research and Education.

The participants were greeted by the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev who outlined that the UNWE is the largest university in the country and the largest business university in Southeastern Europe having about 22 000 students. He pointed out that the UNWE would soon mark the 100th Anniversary of its foundation and determined the university as a generator of political and business elite in Bulgaria. He gave as an example the current government in which 10 of the 17 ministers are lecturers and graduates of UNWE.

I am glad that the first training of its kind in which participate 25 experts from 17 countries of the Coca Cola Hellenic Group is hosted by the UNWE and it is a wonderful example for the relation higher education – business, outlined the Rector.

The first topic for the training was Supply Chain Processes Management presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miroslava Rakovska, Director of the UNWE Scientific Research Center for Logistic Research and Education, Vice Dean of the Economic of Infrastructure Faculty and Head of the Logistics Department.

During the training were discussed the following issues: Demand Planning, Production Planning, Distribution Planning, Clients Service, Solutions for Costs and Service Optimization in the Supply Chain, Projects Management, Software for Supply Chain Planning, Digitalization and Artificial Intellect for Demand, Production and Distribution Management.
