Official Ceremony on Awarding Certificates to the Winners in the National Competition in Finance and Accountancy
In the Ceremonial Hall was held an official ceremony on awarding Certificates to the winners in the largest National Competition in Finance and Accountancy organized by the UNWE and the Association of Economic Schools in Bulgaria (AESB). The Competition was implemented on 9 December of the current year in the Test Center of UNWE. In it took part a record number of pupils – 400 ones from all over the country.

At the ceremony attended the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milanka Slavova, Vice Rector for Education in the EQD of Bachelor and Lifelong Learning and Chairwoman of AESB, Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschiyan, Deputy Chairwoman of AESB, Emilia Ivanova, Director of the National Trade and Banking High School and member of the Coordinating Council of AESB, Ekaterina Aladzhemova, Responsible Editor of the United Editor`s Office for books and periodicals “Thought”, lecturers and teachers from schools-members of AESB.

The winners in the Competition were greeted by Prof. Stattev who pointed out that their results would be recognized as excellent grades for the perspective student examination in the sub-filed of Finance, Accountancy and Control for the academic year 2018 – 2019. The Rector spoke to future students about the achievements of the university as he examined its 97 years old history and pointed out that ten of the 17th Ministers in the government had been graduates and lecturers from the UNWE. You are already 320 students who will join the 22 000-members of our academic family, outlined the Rector and wished to celebrate all together the 100th Anniversary of the foundation of the largest business university in the country and in Southeastern Europe.

The Rector awarded Certificates to the three winners achieved the highest results in the Competition – Krasimira Yordanova, Yoana Petrova and Zdravka Angelova. The three girls were also given a book about Prof. Stephan Bobchev – founder and first Rector of UNWE.
