Mr. Kuzmanov, Assoc. Prof. Valkov, Prof. Denchev, Prof. Stattev, Dr. Krastev, Prof. Dimitrov

I would like today`s Forum to become the first step to the academic community consolidation in all security dimensions, pointed out Prof. Stattev. He specified that the results of the Conference discussions should be systematized and presented to the responsible state institutions.

Let`s become the initiators of a Security Network, pointed out the Rector. It will be a network where the academic community will be the engine of the rationalization of security issues and their adequate solution. Prof. Stattev expressed his hope that the other universities would accept the idea and a future round table conference would address specific and significant scientific suggestions to the institutions responsible for the implementation of security policies. Let it not be the only edition of the Conference and let it become an effective traditional Forum, pointed out Prof. Stattev.

We have high expectations to the Conference, pointed out Georgy Krastev who commented the National Security Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria and laws in the sphere of national security protection. Making security policies requires the assistance of academic community, declared the Secretary of the Security Council. He expressed also an expectation that the Forum would made critical marks and would give new ideas. Georgy Krastev approved the idea of the Rector Prof. Stattev about the creation of strong academic Security Network.
