Informational Day – Opportunities for Work and Internship

At the UNWE the students had the chance to learn more about the opportunities for work and internship provided by the Employment Agency during an Informational Day organized by the Inter-University Center for Career Development (IUCCD) of UNWE and the Employment Office of East District, Students Employment Affiliate.

A special stall was placed in the university lobby and the students were informed in details by Veselina Izvorska, Chief Expert of Students Employment Affiliate.

Two years ago the Employment Agency concluded an Agreement of Cooperation with the university so we traditionally organize such Informational Days to present our services and opportunities to young people, said Veselina Izvorska. The expert pointed out that it had been important for student to acknowledge the Agency as a partner because it had provided lots of opportunities for students and for graduates. 

According to her words the students are basically offered activities of flexible or part-time employment. Especially for students from the UNWE we have jobs for accountants, financial analysts, operators having high level of command of English and computer literacy, clarified Veselina Izvorska and added that there is a wide variety of opportunities if students are willing to respond.

If students want to apply at our office it is needed to have registration at the Employment Agency and then they will  receive information about the jobs suitable to them, explained Izvorska.
