Master Class in Forensic Accounting Led by Professor from The Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, USA

Master Class in Forensic Accounting was held at the UNWE in the period of 20-28 May. It was led by Dr. David Austill, Professor in Accounting and Business Law at Union University, Jackson, Tennessee, USA. The event was organized by the assistance of Prof. Dr. Snezhana Basheva, Dean of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paskal Zhelev, Secretary General for International Cooperation and Chief Assist. Dr. Mihail Musov, Scientific Secretary of the Accountancy and Analysis Department.  

There was an exclusively great interest to the Master Class. In it took active part more than 40 lecturers and students from the Finance and Accountancy Faculty and the discussions were focused on the issues of current interest related to the prevention, fight, investigation and reveal of financial frauds.

Prof. Austill who visited Bulgaria through the Fulbright Programme expressed his contentment with his work with the lecturers and students of UNWE and he wished himself to come back here again. After the Master Class he wrote also an epistle in the Dean`s Book of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty.
